Prosthetics is the branch of dentistry that deals with the restoration of lost parts of the tooth, missing teeth and their adjacent tissues using immobile, mobile and implant techniques. Immovable restorations include full-coverage crowns (porcelain or all-ceramic, single or bridge parts), porcelain or resin veneers, porcelain or resin inlays. Removable restorations include partial or complete dentures. Implants can be used in immobile and mobile restorations.
